Now that is an interesting thought, I assumed that they were just things that I did all day. I enjoy anything new and especially if there is a challenge in creating it. Doesn't matter, I can find pleasure in all sorts of things - don't ask me what I am going to use that for- I haven't dreamt it up yet.

Oh- do you really think that I could sit still long enough to watch a movie? I don't know much about movies and such except I like the old ones- where the light fades away and then my imagination can dream.

MUSIC
I have a story about me and music, perhaps one day I will write a humorous blog about it. This is another category where I have not found time to learn that much. I have decided though, that next time I come this way, I am going to choose music as a talent if allowed. It is so magical and wonderful and what is best you can even do it when your muses are disorganized and not at peace and it comes out swell.

Books, mmmmmmmmmmm. I love books, they are my friends, my teachers, my leaders my enlightenment, if it weren't for books what would my life be like.Empty. Have you ever been at the kitchen sink and thought I need to go see, and darn she is just a part of the book you are living in.
In the last few years, I have taken a great interest in very early books that have long been forgotten. When I can find a very old edition, by lending or owning I have reformatted and have designed, bound and personnally publish very old books. What a pleasure in the art.
So, I can not name a few books of interest, for they all interest me

Well, first of all it would be someone to discuss the definition of art while sharing a couple of good bottles of wine. Second would to be able to share time with someone who is as passionate about creating things and reinventing the wheel as I am. Last of all, to have the company of someone who I no longer need to use words with.

My philosophy is don't engage if it is not positive energy. Therefore, nothing turns me off just doesn't turn me on.

About me. I am just me, nothing more nothing less. My purpose is to try to spread kindness among mankind and in so doing perhaps someday in the future man will know peace. I will be long gone by then but my dream will continue. In the mean time, I will just make stuff.

Hello Pottergrl:

It's so nice to see another basketmaker's work here!  Yours are lovely.  As are the rest of the items in your gallery.  You must be multi-talented to do so much so well.  Love your philosphy of life.  Thanks for dropping a note by.

Hi, I got you comment.  Were you commenting on my knitting? or my painting?  I am a painter who was too tired and depressed from a stressful job, to work in the studio...thus, I started knitting.  I'm investigating two-end knitting right now.  I love it because I feel like I'm doing a drawing while I working a piece.

Your profile says: "job" works on paper.  I see several works on paper, but also some other objects.  What do you do.  How would you describe your work.

I'm new to this community...seems it's taking a while to take off.  But I'm in another community called Ravelry for knitters and crocheters.  That has been interesting and I hope this community is also as interesting.

Be well...Karen
