I am a software engineer working for one of those big corporations during the day. At night, I delve into my art, where my real passion is. I have changed careers and understand the rich benefits and rewards of stepping outside of your comfort zone. Do it! My mother always encouraged me to pursue my artistic talents and I didn't follow that path until after she left this world. The bright side is that I am embracing being an artist and my goal is that this will be my third career. There is a great story associated with this entity of folklore:  She came in great beauty and was seen by two men.  One saw the inner beauty and the other saw the physical beauty.  The one who saw the outer beauty lusted for her and approached her to do her harm and she killed him.  (This is just a couple lines from the whole story but the best part.)     me

Pottery was my first career.  Love your glass work.  What fun to play in the heat.  Like your dogs too -  around here they are australian shepherds.   Look forward to seeing more of your work.

But I must admit I have a Dorian Gray portrait at home that's looking rather tired these days............
