THINGS I LIKE
Walking in the French Quarters after a good afternoon rainshower.Feeling the city streets come to life right before your eyes. Along with the sweet smell of pretty white flowers. And knowing that at any moment will be that one shot from My camera that makes one person smile.

THINGS I DISLIKE
My turn offs are when someone has no faith in what I see through a lens. Yes I see the world through rose colored glasses but what I do see makes Me what I am. For not having faith in Me just holds Me back. and I am not wanting to held back ,but spread My wings and fly.To let the world know I am here.

ABOUT ME
I am living in Violet, running The Gallery from home. I hope one day to have My own Gallery in Chalmette so all can see. MY DREAM is to just have it where people can walk in and tour My work.

I just sent you two emails, one with the info from Dana about the December 4th xmas tour of homes in chalmette, and the other email has an attachment with the details and entry form for the SBAG members show on November 30.  call or email me if you didn't get those emails. 


And CONGRATULATIONS for winning Best of Show in Natchez!!! Way to go!!!

Hi Rainy, the next SBAG meeting is tomorrow nite in Slidell.  The next show is the month of october, at the slidell museum, and then the member's judged show will be at the st bernard govt complex - date to be announced, but probably late november.  Glad to hear you're doing ok - have you got electric back on, down there?

You can't live a career in fear of what might be stolen.  The inter net is the new venue; you have to put your work out there.  I've been a working professional artist for over 40 years and any time an image was "stolen" from me it didn't do the theif any good.  A real artist is looking for his own style and will not steal so those who do are not talented and lazy.  In the long run, nothing comes of it.  Sign your work, put the copyright sign after your name, keep good inventory (with dates) and don't loose any sleep over it.


A style or technique is hard to steal and you cannot hold dibs on an idea.  There is only one Thomas Kinkade and only one Bev Doolittle.  All others are copycats and the world knows it.    me
