Dollmakers Circle

Nature

Ill mannered children, clocks, timers, buzzers, alarms, the phone, shopping, interruptions.

I began carving No Face dolls in May of 2007, from a desire to keep alive the dying traditional art form of storytelling. Each character comes from the lore of the American Indian with his/her own story. These dolls are teachers of history, tradition and morals. The theme of "No Face" is about vanity. The web site launched July of 2008

Hello again! I haven't been very good about checking the site -- it's been almost 2 months since you posted the comment. Just not enough hours in the day!

I've been enjoying your articles.

Thanks for the direction to your website and sharing part of the story for White Buffalo Calf Woman.  Course, once I got there I had to explore and found Star Lily.  She is beyond beautiful.  I have a great respect for your work.  Wonderful!
